Slickline Measuring Head
Application
DataCan’s Slickline Measuring Head is a compact and durable device used to measure slickline depth and speed. The unit is easily mounted to a spooling arm or track while the straight through design reduces slickline bending, fatigue and wear. The design is lightweight and offers the ability to side load for effortless installation and maintenance. The unit supports a digital encoder and mechanical odometer for measurement, with metric or imperial configurations. The digital encoder is connected to DataCan’s DTD or Linewise systems to display depth/speed while the Veederoot Odometer provides mechanical depth measurement. Custom cables and adapters can be used to integrate between compatible systems.
